Q: Updated Pages, but App Store still asks me to update

I updated the Pages app for three times, same thing had happened to Keynote, but for the second time trying, it successfully finished updating. It takes a lot of time to update Pages, and I'm tired of updating it, just to see next time I open App Store and see it asks me to update again.

I have the latest version of the Pages, 5.0.1

I also did clean the cache folders which were discussed in other related topic.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

    Hey there Mehrdadmaskull,

It sounds like you are repeatedly being prompted to update Pages, but you already have the latest version installed. Based on the troubleshooting you have already done, I would next delete the app, restart the computer and then redownload it from the App Store.

    Uninstall apps

    • To uninstall apps you purchased from the Mac App Store, hold down an app’s icon in Launchpad until all the icons begin to jiggle. Click an app’s delete button (x) to uninstall the app.
    • To uninstall other apps, drag the app to the Trash (the Trash is located at the end of the Dock), and then choose Finder > Empty Trash.

From: OS X Mountain Lion: Install, update, and uninstall apps

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

    Take care,

Actually, I did this earlier, and it works

Don't know what caused it, maybe interrupted downloads, but that seems to be the only option!

    Thanks Austin
