Jan 11, 2014 1:23 PM in response to AwesomeMalkaby contstance,If you can't see the "On This Ipod" button on the top right, but your left sidebar/menu is showing the Ipod, you will need to hide the left sidebar. Go to the view settings and click to hide the sidebar. Then, the On This Ipod button will appear in the top right. Then you can click on that button and check the box to sync your music. I was extremely frustrated with not being able to sync after updating and re-installing and everything, and this worked for me.

Jan 14, 2014 9:59 PM in response to joseclaudia7581by Strummer810,Same problem with my 6 year old Nano 3rd generation iPod. I went the "Restore iPod" route and it gave me an iPod software update to down load. It took about 10-15 minutes to download it but after the update and installation, I was able to sync with no problem. So it seems different iPods are having the same problem but needing different fixes.

Jan 25, 2014 11:01 AM in response to TheMorg007by cathyfromks,Determine if your computer is a 32 or 62 bit. If it is a 64 bit, there is a special i tunes for 64 bit. I had the same problem until I used the 64 bit version. then it worked perfectly. Would have save me hours of time if I had know this. Hope it helps.
