Q: My screen won't come on

hit the power button and it makes my screen go black but sound still plays in the background and i can't get it to come back on

MacBook Air, OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

OS X 10.9 Mavericks

Power button behavior changed a bit in OS X 10. 9 Mavericks.
