Q: Where are my pictures?

Where are my pictures? I cannot find them. HELP !!!

    Did you restore your backup?  If they were in your camera roll when you last backed up, restoring the backup will recover them.  If they were in photo stream, you will only get photos from the last 30 days as older photo stream photos are no longer in iCloud.

    Thanks. I did not do anything with my Icloud for months but took over 6000 pictures! So will they be there? How can I get them back?

    Apple keeps your iCloud backup for 180 days before deleting it.  The backup will include photos that were in your camera roll when you created the backup.  Restoring the backup to your device should recover them.

     

    Photo stream would only have 1000 photos, and would only remain in iCloud for 30 days.
