Sep 22, 2013 6:35 PM in response to Pablo Cesarby Tesserax,If you are trying to stream to multiple AirPlay Speakers simultaneously from an iOS device (iPad, iPhone, or iPod Touch) you won't be able to as it is not supported. iOS only supports streaming to one AirPlay Speaker at a time.

Sep 23, 2013 5:12 AM in response to Tesseraxby Pablo Cesar,Thanks for your answer. I have to say that it's VERY disappointing. If we were talking about a low cost rubbish manufacturer device I'd understand, but it's not the case here!!!

Sep 23, 2013 5:15 AM in response to Tesseraxby Pablo Cesar,Tesserae, you said stream from iOS. What about streaming from a Mac desktop/notebook? Is there a way? I couldn't do it anyway...

Nov 9, 2013 11:36 AM in response to Pablo Cesarby fluidj,I had the same question which ultimately led me here. A solution I found, and one I think you and everyone else would appreciate, is an app called Portal . This app allows me to play ALL system sounds to as many airplay speakers as I'd like. This is especially helpful for folks like me that do not use iTunes. It's a tad bit "expensive" for an app at $16...but it works like a charm and allows me to take full advantage of my two airplay speakers.

Nov 12, 2013 7:20 AM in response to Pablo Cesarby jdailey34,Airfoil also allows you to stream to multiple AirPlay stations from a mac or pc. My question is how do you do the same thing from an iPhone or iPad

Nov 21, 2013 7:16 AM in response to fluidjby WaltNYC,Portal appears to enable your desktop to stream non-iTunes sources to multiple AE's. That is interesting but we are still looking for a solution to stream from an iOS device to multiple AE's.
Anyone?

Dec 7, 2013 4:31 PM in response to Pablo Cesarby Tomevans18,This is what you want:
https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/airplay-multiroom-player-by/id663776918?mt=8
I just wish I was a bit better than I am with programming as there would be a lot more that I would want to do with this app such as a butter UI and add features like support for spotify, iTunes server and see what is already playing from other users.
If anyone what's to build something like this I can work on UI and testing

Dec 19, 2013 5:20 AM in response to Pablo Cesarby WaltNYC,That is very close. Add support for multiple AE's on an iOS device to include Pandora/Spotify and I'd buy it.

Jan 18, 2014 9:04 PM in response to Pablo Cesarby thetallamerican,I just downloaded the Whaale Player which plays up to six speakers from an iPad. The catch is you have to buy the app and pay additional to play more than two speakers. I have an Apple TV, airport express and a Philips Airplay speaker. It was working fine as long as I did not use the wifi with other devices.. It began cutting out.

Feb 12, 2014 5:53 AM in response to Tesseraxby Mathieu B,Use any computer with a recent version of iTunes to stream to multiple AirPlay devices and use this free app from Apple on your iDevice as a Remote for iTunes: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/remote/id284417350

Nov 30, 2014 4:22 PM in response to Tesseraxby bobafettbrad,Apple please! If WHAALE can do it with their app why not Music or Beats Music? There is zero need to introduce a Mac and the Itunes Remote App to make this work. Apple, please simplify, not complicate my life. This is a great user experience, just poorly executed and complicated. Please give us multiple airplay in Music and Beats Music. There is no need for Sonos when apple airplay can do it all. I'd buy another AppleTV and a few airport expresses if this feature were available in IOS.
