Hints to other ways to fix this received with gratitude

I should mention that when a program is launched they all seem to run with normal speed it is just boot time and launch times that seem to be so much slower.

Using CleanMyMac will result in system corruption. Attempting to uninstall it according to its instructions is ineffective at removing all its components.

Restore your system from a backup created prior to installing CleanMyMac, or erase it completely and reconfigure your Mac from the ground up. When doing so, install only your essential software and other files. "Essential" is defined to exclude CleanMyMac or similarly categorized junk.

You may be able to recover by reinstalling OS X using OS X Recovery, but not even that will remove CleanMyMac.

Thanks I  wish you had better news for me but thanks.

I guess I will order 4 gig more ram and a new larger internal drive since I have to rebuild from scratch.... With the demands of my win 7 pro sp1 partition on the internal I need more space there anyway.
