Q: my brother hl2270dw printer is only compatible with mac osx 10.6 and my mac pro is 10.9. is there a way to make this printer work anyway.

my current printer is a brother HL2270DW but is only compatible with osx10.6 and my new mac pro is 10.9.1. is there a way around this so that i can still use this printer and not have to buy a new one?  please help

A very quick check of the Brother support site reveals that new firmware for 10.9.x is available. Have you tried this?
