After trashing the clips out of FCPX and off the drive and going into the finder and trashing the trash. You have to go into the tranzcoded media on the drive and trash those files. I did this with FCPX open and the files opened up with the video. I then had to redo the proxy and HQ media. One would think that when you trash out a file in FCPX that it would remove the corrosponding files to avoid this issue. Argggg I hope this helps someone else in the future....
