Jan 22, 2014 12:39 PM in response to NerevarRebornby pdroth,I'll take you up on that bet. Android can't do it, nor any other device for that matter.

Jan 22, 2014 12:39 PM in response to NerevarRebornby joeyman2,well if you want text specifcally then no theres not but with notes it will be on your iphone and the computer

Jan 22, 2014 12:42 PM in response to pdrothby NerevarReborn,But there are programs already that lets you type a text and send it to the iPhone, with a number ready and all, and you only have to press a send button on the phone. How could it be that friggin hard to have an opensource-type program to over-ride that last bit, and just send it?

Jan 22, 2014 12:45 PM in response to pdrothby NerevarReborn,I know it isnt. But isnt some android-stuff? Or jailbroken iStuff?
-
Jan 22, 2014 12:46 PM in response to NerevarRebornby joeyman2,jailbroken stuff will destroy the point of this so dont do that, and as for android well they arent either

Jan 22, 2014 12:51 PM in response to joeyman2by NerevarReborn,Didn't mean that, sorry, but yea...the hackers can open up stuff that would be awesome if we had in the first place. But I don't wanna go there just yet....just a **** shame we buy items worth hundreds of dollars, and still have no say in what to do with the software in them....
I still love my (now) old iPhone 4, but I want some flexibility....

Jan 22, 2014 12:53 PM in response to NerevarRebornby joeyman2,well i still recomend using the icloud because you can put stuff up and take stuff down and it will be there untill you delete it so you wont have to worry about losing it

Jan 22, 2014 12:56 PM in response to joeyman2by pdroth,Joey - did you even read this person's question? You are not even talkign about anything remotely close to what he needs.
iCloud has NOTHING to do with texting. At all. -
Jan 22, 2014 12:57 PM in response to pdrothby joeyman2,he also said for messages and he adressed you earlier about this

Alright, but what I basically want is a program to send texts from my phone, over WiFi, BlueTooth, iCloud or anything, just that I type them in some app or program on a computer.
I'm willing to bet andriod phones can do that by now....
If you are not specifially looking fopr SMS text messages, then pretty much any note taking or text/word processing app in conjunction with a cloud service such as DropBox, or Drop would do. You might want to look into OneNote and SkyDrive since your computer is a Windows machine. This isn't messaging you are looking for for.

Jan 22, 2014 4:59 PM in response to Kilgore-Troutby NerevarReborn,*sigh*
Did I stutter? Thanks for the help, but I was looking *only* for a way to send text messages (aka SMS) from my computer using a program or app, without the need for a send command on the phone. Like I said, everything up until that last step is possible in apps I've seen already.

Jan 22, 2014 5:02 PM in response to NerevarRebornby deggie,I'm willing to bet that Android phones cannot do that. Text messages (SMS) are sent over the cell voice network. They are not sent via BT, WiFi, etc.

Frankly, no, that isn't clear from your post. however, since you have clarified the issue, no. Unless your cellular provider has an application or a web interface that automatically stores and provides access to SMS messages (possible, but doubtful), you are not going to find an SMS solution that accomplishes that.
