Sorry for the trouble. I am Vineeth and I am from the Norton Support team.
Are you able to connect to the iTunes store after disabling Norton 360? If so, try allowing iTunes under Smart Firewall. Go to the Firewall Settings in your Norton product. Click Configure next to Program Control. In the Programs list, select iTunes and change the status Allow.
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks!
Vineeth

thanks for your advice. The status for iTunes is already "allowed". What does "disablng" Norton 360 mean? Do I need to completely deinstall or just disable the complete Firewall?
Thanks
