Get rid of Clean My Mac and most of all, MacKeeper. MacKeeper causes all kinds of problems, including slowdowns.

There are at least two problems present, either one of which will easily cause the problems you describe: MacKeeper and CleanMyMac.

Using either one will result in system corruption. Attempting to uninstall CleanMyMac according to its instructions is ineffective at removing all its components. Uninstalling MacKeeper according to its instructions will remove it but neither one of those actions alone will undo the damage they are capable of inflicting upon OS X, the programs you may use, or the data you may have.

Restore your system from a backup created prior to installing them, or erase it completely and reconfigure your Mac from the ground up. When doing so, install only your essential software and other files. "Essential" is defined to exclude CleanMyMac or similarly categorized junk.

You may be able to recover by reinstalling OS X using OS X Recovery, but not even that will remove CleanMyMac.

Other problems include the Conduit "Community Toolbar" and codec-m both of which are not usually installed unless a user is deceived into doing so.
