Welcome to the Support Communities!
I would suggest checking your internet security settings on your Windows computer. There may be a setting in there regarding signatures. Then download the software directly from our website. Save the file first, and then install it.

The new error is:
iTunes was not installed correctly. Pleaser reinstall iTunes.

Using Windows 7 Home Premium, fully updated 64bit, and no matter what I try, I keep having this problem for iTunes update 11.3.1. I find it telling that there are a lot of entries about this problem when you Google it, going back several years across several operating systems. And no help from the mighty Apple. I guess they want you to go to the "Genius" bar so they can charge you for something that should work by itself.
