Q: jus got my mac but can't get it ti mirror on my apple tv, my iPad still mirrors successfully, anybody assist?

Hello all,

can't get my new mac to mirror onto my apple tv, the ipad still mirrors ok, can anybody assist please.

Make sure the Mac is from 2011 or later running OSX 10.8 (or later). You can verify by going to About This Mac in the top left corner.

What year is it? Is the issue that you can't see the Airplay icon?

Have you checked the troubleshooting tips?
