You are posting in the Time Capsule area.. do you have a time capsule?
If not the question is better to ask in the iphone discussion area.
We cannot really make much comment on the iphone here as it is an area we specialise in Time Capsule problems.
If your phone is so poor compared to the samsung it sounds like you are using a non-apple router. Certainly the apple routers can have issues but there are some troubleshooting steps you can do.
Reset the TC (used for time capsule from now on) to factory, and use all short names, no spaces and pure alphanumeric. Set different names for 2.4ghz and 5ghz.
So TC name = TC
2.4ghz name = TC24ghz
5ghz name = TC5ghz
Use only wpa2 personal security with 10-20 character pure alphanumeric password.
Now test by manually setting channels, 11, 6, 1 in that order for 5ghz.
36, 40, 44 and 149 or greater for 5ghz.
Force the phone to join 2.4ghz rather than 5ghz for the best range.
