Q: problems downloading an update

I have just tried to download an I tunes update and I now have a meeasge Error MSVCR80.dll when I try to open the application through the shortcut

I have tried the repair option in the download window, so do I now have to remove i tunes first and then reinstall from the start?

Having the same issue. I even tried to uninstall, reboot, clean registry then reinstall to no avail.

Doing a search for the file shows that MSVCR80.dll exists and is located in the correct winsxs folder.

For me, this issue is related to the 64 bit version of Itunes.
