Q: 5th Generation IPOD NANO will not restore

My 5th generation Ipod Nano will not restore. I typically use it with my IMAC at home, but am traveling for work using a Windows system. I was prepared to format to use on windows, and did as instructed but it will not restore. Everytime I try it goes halfway then gives me an error (1429). I have rebooted my computer, hard reset my Ipod, and even tried it in disk mode with no luck.
