Some songs will not play on ITunes, it says the computer needs authorising, but it already is.

Some songs will not play on ITunes, it says the computer needs authorising, but it already is. It only effects a couple of songs.

    Hey there AndyClay,

     

    It sounds like you are not able to play a couple of songs that you have in your iTunes Library, and are being prompted to authorize the computer but it is already authorized with your Apple ID. It is possible the songs in question may be associated with another Apple ID, and this info from the following article:

    1. Open iTunes
    2. Highlight one of the items you have purchased (You can find your purchases in your Purchases playlist).
    3. Choose File > Get Info.
    4. Click the Summary tab.

    If it is the same account that iTunes is authorized with, then you can delete the music that is affected:

    iTunes 11 for Windows: Delete songs, playlists, or other items

    Then download them again from your purchased history with this article:
