Q: AirPrint -iPad to canon AirPrint printer  problems

Thats what I'm finding out the hard way. iPad is great for field work but field printing from a iPad seems impossible without a lot of extra expense. Still thinking something should work. thanks for the reply.

I ran across this  scenerio in another fourm a couple days ago. wasnt to sure to think about it. Im going to pack up the 7720 and back to best buy and try that printer. No one really knowes there products that well at all the office stores and its a little frustrating. Reading all the different fourms everyone has a opinion but its  like chasing your tail. When you really need a solution it cost money to experiment. This is the first video that makes a lot of sence. I will give it a try with a little more confidence.Thanks for the help.

Just a response back to the video link you sent me.They didn't have the HP 5520 printer at Office Depot but they did have the next model up which was the HP ENVY 5530. It worked! Key is to have a personal hot spot " which my iPad has in SETTINGS'' and wireless direct and E print on the stated on the printer box. The video link explains the rest. Thanks for the help! Mobile printing in my truck now!!
