Q: AppStore Multiple errors 13, 100 etc

This topic has been discussed elsehwere but not in a combination of 3 errors in the same "shop".

Problem A) I get error 13 message while try to download "not free" apps from app store

Problem B) I get error 100 (sometimes 13) when i try to download Mountain Lion

Problem C) I cant buy anything from Appstore after I used 2 different acccounts in order to solve the download probem.

I have followed the instructions quoted below. I can see some point a fingerr to the heavy download rate. That did not apply in Finland as the download is possible on any other computer.

Instructions:

If you still need help...

Try here >  Mac App Store: "An unknown error occurred (100)" when purchasing

If that doesn't help, open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder

Type this exactly as you see it here;

~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore/Cache.db

Click Go

Move the Cache.db file to the Trash.

Now here:

~/Library/Preferences/

Click Go

Move these files from the Preferences folder to the Trash.

com.apple.appstore.plist

com.apple.storeagent.pllist

Now here:

~/Library/Cookies

Click Go

Move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.

Empty the Trash, try the App Store.

So nothing has helped?  Which Mac OS X do you have installed now?

I have Mountain Lion - 4th time now installed (by using Cmd+R), Safari nor working, Notofications app missing, no way to download on AppStore (apart from free apps).

None of the help above will have any affect on Safari or Notifications.

Sounds like the startup disk may need repairing.

You can do that using OS X Lion Recovery

    Hi Tuffe,

Thx very much for your post and writing the necessary steps clearly and in detail!

I have also been getting update error messages whenever I tried to load an update or a new app from the app store for the last six weeks on a Macbook Air running Mac OS X Lion (10.7.4) and getting error 13 mostly and sometimes error 100. I have been trying to solve this problem but did not have a lot of time to work on it. I have read many suggestions including deleting the apps to be updated (and I deleted the Numbers program taking that route and could not reload it as app store was not working properly for me). The solution you suggested worked like a charm. You saved me from a lot of headaches. Thx very much again!

Much thanks! I gave up on this a few months ago. But now with the OS & iOS updates....I dove back into it. Deleted Cache...got rid of ERROR 100.  Then I got ERROR 13.  Deleted Cookies....and problem solved!  Yay!

    Hey Tuffe,

Removing the com.apple.storeagent.pllist worked for me!

    Many thanks

None of these things has worked for my error 13 issues on the app store. I am running 10.7.5 and trying to download Mavericks. =( so frustrating... grrr
