Q: Itunes gift card

Ive been trying to do this and it has been leaving me stumped, but how do I give a itunes card to somebody as a gift going through the itunes store on the iphone?

Gift an amount on an iOS device

 

1. Scroll to the bottom of the main page of the iTunes Store or App Store.

 

2. Tap Send Gift.

3. Sign in to the iTunes Store with your Apple ID.

 

4. Type the email address for the person you're sending the iTunes Gift to.

5. Tap an amount you’d like to gift or type another amount.

 

6. If you want to, add a message.

 

7. Pick the day you want to send the gift.

 

8. Select a theme for your gift.

 

9. Tap Buy, then tap Buy to confirm.

    And what if I wanted to buy a Itunes card electronicly for me I do what, cause sometimes I dont feel like dragging my lazy butt to the store to get one?

    Hey dipnbeans,

     

    Thanks for the follow up. I’m glad to see that the information helped.

     

    As far as your follow up question, you are able to send an iTunes Gift to yourself, as long as there is an acceptable payment method on your account. Simply type your Apple ID in the email address field when filling out the form. Once you receive the email, you can redeem the gift to your account.
