Q: I have a late 2009 MacBook with 2 GB RAM.  (1GB in each slot).  It is saying I can upgrade to 4GB.  Not sure if that means a total of 4GB or 4GB in each slot.  Thank you.

    It means a total of 4 or 8 GBs depending upon what modules your purchase - 2 GB or 4 GB.
