Q: Error 7 (Windows error 126)

Ok so this only happened today, it was working fine the other day.
I tired running iTunes, and an error up which read
"The program can't start because V3HUNT.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem. -> iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126)."

I've followed most replies in this forum, remove all Apple components(QuickTime, Apple Update, iTunes, etc.), update my .net framework to 4.0. It still shows this.

I once got to the point where it says "The ordinal 51 could not be located in the dynamic link library ODBC32.dll".

I somehow think this is connected to a Windows 7 error rather then iTunes. Would it help if I reformatted my computer?

What was "it"?  Which response did you use to get iTunes installed?

Uninstalled all the apple applications on my computer and then re-install Itunes. I still don't know what caused the problem but suspect there is an error in release 11.4.

I deleted everything Apple.  Just went down the list in the uninstall window and uninstalled it all.  I did this in the order mentioned in someone else's post: iTunes, Apple Support,  Apple Mobile Device, Bonjour, Apple Application Support, iCloud, Quicktime, VoiceOver Kit,  and anything else on your computer created by Apple.  Then I restarted my computer and downloaded iTunes.  (The Apple products in my list have shortened names because that is what I wrote in my notes)  The list I followed was posted by lel1956.  Hope you get good results.

I'm trying to get this answer to several posts about this same issue.  This article worked perfect for me after trying many different solutions.
