Q: How do you print a selected sheet in Numbers

Is there way to print only 1 sheet of a multiple sheet Numbers file using the iCloud beta version?  At this time when printing it creates a pdf of all sheets of a file.  Just wondering if there are any tricks other than editing the pdf file.

If you have the Mac version of iWork/Numbers you can print individual sheets.  My sheets are "printed" on separate pages when using the iCloud beta, so another option may be to print just a range of pages (or a single page) via the print dialog setting in Preview (or your PDF viewer app).

I'm aware I can print select sheets with the app.  The question is how do you do it with the iCloud version.  If I have to access and print a file from a PC I need to use the iCloud version.

I'm not aware of a way to do it via the iCloud version.  My only suggestion is to print select sheets after downloading to the PC.  There must be a built-in app that will do that.  Hopefully someone else will have a better idea.

I don't know if this has been fixed or not, but what I have had to do is download my iWorks numbers spreadsheet in Excel format, and then use Excel to do the printing that I want to do.  My use case is as follows:

    • I input the data that I wish to enter on my iPad.
    • The Numbers sheet on my iPad is linked to an iWorks Numbers sheet, and when I make changes on my iPad these changes automatically show up on my iWorks Numbers file on my PC
    • I cannot print from iWorks Numbers on my PC the way I want to: [print a selection on the sheet to a .pdf printer that I use all the time on my PC]
    • I therefore resort to downloading the iWorks Numbers sheet to an Excel file and then do my printing from that Excel file

The reason for tolerating this rather clumsy arrangement is that it is wonderfully convenient to be able to enter the data that I need to enter from a portable go-anywhere device like the iPad.
