Q: MY IPHONE 5C TURNS OFF OR SHOW LOW BATTERY WHEN I'M OUTSIDE IN TEH WINTER EVEN WITH IT IN MY POCKET. Why?

Is the battery bad or system issue for reason it dies or shows low battery when i'm outside in the cold?

iPhone 5c, iOS 7.0.4
