Q: I have recently bought a 4th Gen ipad. Is it possible to watch a tv programme on the ipad and at the same time connect the ipad to my pc so that the tv programme is displayed on both devices at the same time.

I have recently bought a 4th Gen ipad.  Is it possible to watch a tv programme on the ipad and at the same time time connect the ipad to my pc so that the tv programme is displayed on both devices at the same time.

    There are many TV channels you can watch online on your computer.   No need to use a tablet to enable this function.

     

    There are also a ton of Apps for TV channels available for free in the App Store for your iPad.

     

    Both computer and tablet are limited to the access you have with a cable subscription.

     

    Airplay will not work between iPad and a non Apple PC.   There are secondary apps that will.

     

    There is Apples Remote app which you can use to control your iTunes account from your tablet, but it also works better from an Apple PC.
