Q: Entered wrong password for Wifi and now Apple Tv (2nd) won't connect to wifi.

I got a new router and entered the password for it.  I got it up and running before realising that I needed to change the password to my own personal one.  Now I dont know how to change it on the apple Tv.

I've done all the normal things:  restarted router, restarted apple tv, etc.  Need some help.

Go back into the settings on the ATV and enter the correct credentials.

If nothing else, Settings > General > Reset on the ATV.

    Hi,

after changing the wep code on my router, I had trouble resetting the configuration on my appletv.  If you select your router from the available networks list, it uses the stored wep code, which of course no longer works.

to specify a new one, while appletv is trying to connect to that router you need to quickly hit the menu button on your appletv remote.  You will then be prompted to enter a new wep code.

hope this helps people with this problem in the future.
