Last time I cryied for help on these forums, I got nothing for SHAT from level7-9 that Apple can't get your device back, if restored to default with "find my iphone" turned off, its your lost.

Other than i had no help at all and i was very young at the time too.

Ever heard of black market for these devices for ios 5-6? they could have been stolen and resold multiple times to other people by the time we manage to hit ios 7 and by then, it be like which harry potter be the real one to defeat him/ to unlocking the dam phone, yes, the email address be fine and all but you don't know if they no longer have that email addres or no longer in use.

BUT BUT BUT.... If that were the case for a certain time limit of having the phone for a long amout of time, then the phone be deactivated and still gets resold by people & possible relocking the device once again and sell it on Ebay and screwing the person on the other side for a long time not able to use the dang phone.

Personaly, just paying for a $99 iPhone or a $200iPhone is fine, at least you wont be screwed like you are now.

All lies. I already responded by locking my device. You want to steal it and be able to use it after 4weeks? Well Boo-hoo. Not only I do not give that permission to you, I do not give consent to Apple to unlock it for you. This is MY property. I locked it. I paid bloody money to Apple for it. The last thing I want is fot thief or reseller to use it.

I see! So you just want to kill the second hand market for iPhones.  You dont want any iPhones being sold on the 2nd hand market because they could be stolen and possibly be iPhone that  you lost or was stolen from you.

So to deter somebody from stealing your  iPhone you are willing to burn down the whole 2nd hand market and label all the people in that market crooks. God forbid that someone make a mistake in the course of the deal cause they will immediately be a crook and liar according to you. I understand how you think now.

Finally. Now you understand how I think, how Apple thinks (if they do). How everybody who's iphone stolen/lost thinks. You have no right to use stolen/lost device, just cause you found it on the street, or stole it or bought it from reseller who stole it or got it from pawnshop. I have\ full right( and thanks to Apple now ability) to make sure that nobody will ever use something I paid money for. I earn that money with my sweat and blood and if you didn't get it before, get it now.

Ha ha! You have lost sense of what the real issue is all about. Nobody is talking about using a stolen/lost device. Go back and read this thread again and try to understand what we are really talking about here.

You have lost sense asking Apple to unlock iphone that was stolen from me and locked by me. You didn't get it before now I guess.

What if people do not know how to report it stolen? 99% does not. But that was actually good, first really responsible and smart person here. Now if you would be so kind as if to explain why would Apple need to interfere in my private decision to lock my phone and not report stolen on website so I can easily track it. Not to report it stolen to carrier either - so I can still use their gps for location. And not to respond to your sadistic requests to unlock my iphone for your use after you or someone stole it and sold to you.

Yea right.. Like 99% of people dont not know how to report a stolen anything! Come on! If someone turned on Find My iPhone in the iOS Settings then they surely know how to report if the device is stolen cause that is why they turned Find My iPhone on in the first place. If you cant respond to an email from Apple about your iOS device then you do not have the right to complain.

I do not complain. You do. Your arguments have no legal basis and if you didn't get the memo you lost already.

in that case also 99% of the users has no idea about so manythings but there are millions complaining from the same issue >>>all the devices they have stolen !!!! wow massive number of thieves

there is another easy and simple solutation unblock the non reported 1 but keep it linked to the old id also for more 6 months or even a year and send an email to the old id tell them how to report it by pix " don't give me a fish but teach me how to fish "" now you taught 99% how to report and u solved the other 99% u r ignoring  there is nothing named aged ppl >>>>kids , second hand market and by the way some of us could tell apple who we called and who called us for more than ayear even where the places we went to so many ways to make appl so sure its not stolen

All excellent points, but tell me what legal authority apple has over my device? I bought it it is mine only. I do not give about second hand stolen or lost devices market. And if I sell myself I know how to fish.
