Q: About Free Apple Apps for iOS 7 compatible devices

I have purchase an 1 month plus old iPad Air from my friend for my daughter for her school study requirement. She will need some of the apps like keynote for her study. How can I download free for the above free apps? My iPad is registered in mid Dec 13 by previous owner and I did not find the above apps install in the device.

    If the apps do not show as being available for free when you sign into the iTunes Store through the App Store app on the iPad, then the apps would probably have been redeemed by the previous owner under his/her own Apple ID and hence not now available to you without paying for them.
