Maybe you gona need something to split the input and the output signal of the irig plug to be pin compatible with the input jack in the behringer interface. It can be easily done with some audio-video cables/jacks that can be found in radioshack.

Thanks, I'll have to make a trip to the equivalent of radioshack here & see if I can find something to split that.
*sigh* just feels like so much trouble to do a simple thing.
If you have to make a trip to get the cables and stuff, make shure you also buy a simple stereo cable: the one that have standard 1/8" male stereo jacks in both ends.
It comes to mind, if its too difficult to split the signal, you can still use your iphone with an iRig plugged on it, running garage band or whatever guitar procesing app (amplitube maybe), so you use the simple stereo cable to connect the output of irig to the input of the usb audio interface, and just turn down the volume in your iphone until you get no distortion in your mac. Just let the iphone run all the sound effects for your guitar and pass the processed audio to your mac in **** real time ;)
