I'm suspecting the answer is no. But does anyone know of a way to get Pages '09 to split a footnote across multiple pages? I have two successive pages with footnotes in my document that end up being half empty--Pages won't flow the text from the second page back into the first page, because the accompanying footnote wouldn't fit entirely on the first of the two pages. The preferred solution would be to break the second footnote and place part of it on one page, continuing onto the next, rather than leave large quantities of white space. Any way to force this behaviour, or, failing that, a robust way of faking the desired result?
