Q: Photo Stream - new phone

I just purchased another iPhone yesterday.  I traded it in so we deleted everything (probably a mistake).  I only had the most recent photos come over to the new phone.  Is there any way to recover the?  I have a MacBook Pro and a PC with iCloud set up.  I am very concerned.  The pictures are very important.

iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.4

Photo stream photos only remain in iCoud for 30 days, allowing sufficient time for your other devices to download them.  Then you connect a new device to your photo stream, it can only access photos from the last 30 days as older photos are no longer in iCloud.

Photo stream photos are not backed up, however camera roll photos are.  If the photos were in the camera roll on your old phone when you last backed it up, restoring the backup should recover them.
