Q: Bluetooth still not working. I cant get my mouse or keyboard to connect.

Ive gone through all of the simple troubleshooting recommendations in this article and cannot get my bluetooth to recognize anything although it says it's on. It just came back from a repair to remove 2 dvds from the slot and tune up (if that applies). Nothing seems to be able to conect via bluetooth. Wifi is fine.

airport utility/, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

    To add:

It's an iMac 09. Mainly need to conect my mouse and keyboard which were doing that fine. Changed batteries. Turned bluetooth on off few times. Restarted computer. The wheel that shows its working (looking for keyboard etc goes but no connection.

I'm afraid some hardware was broken in the move to or from the repair.
