Q: no iphoto effects in add adjustment pop-up
I recently installed Aperture 3 after doubting between this and Lightroom. The fact that I could/can use my knowledge of iPhoto made me choose Aperture. Now I want to add some effect and see this instruction in the manual:
Apply an iPhoto effect to an image
1 Select an image.
2 Choose iPhoto Effects from the Add Adjustment pop-up menu in the Adjustments inspector or the Adjustments pane of the Inspector HUD.
However, if I go to the pop-up menu there I only have the option 'quick brushes' and no other. How to solve this one.
Thanks all!

They should be there under the Adjustments menu:
So you just installed Aperture, this is not an upgrade/update?
If the setting isn;t there try doing the steps in Aperture 3: Troubleshooting Basics I would start with the instructions to move the preference file out, the instructions for this are about 2/3rds of the way down the page.
