Q: I can't save my event. it gets deleted automatically

I merged and edited some videos for my school project but whenever I return to projects screen it deletes my event and project seems empty. I need to undo that and return to edit screen. I can't export the video. anyone can help?

Did you ever solve this? Can you be a bit more specific? You had 2 problems? 1 - merging elements from different events and exporting?

first of all thanks for your reply.

I created a project named comenius. After that I added videos from iPhoto and edited it without any problems. I finished the video. I pressed return button at the bottom left of the screen. It deleted all my work. I pressed undo button and got my work back. I don't know what to do from here. I need this video to send my friends but I can't take it out from Final Cut. I don't know what to do from here. Whenever I return projects screen, my project seems empty and it's duration is 00:00.

That's not a project. You've opened an image into the timeline dot the event and edited there. Copy everything in the timeline. Go to the project library and paste everything into that.
