Q: My daughter has downloaded about £70.00of stuff for a game yesterday on her iPod touch unknowing to me. How do I go about getting a refund?

How do I get a refund after my daughter spent money on games without me knowing ?

iPod touch, iOS 7.0.4

    Have her work it off or pay you out of her money. Then it's a lesson learned. Worked on my daughter when she was young. Today she's a responsible adult.

    Purchases are considered final, but you can try the 'report a problem' link to contact iTunes Support and see if they will refund or credit you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page

     

    If you haven't already done so, then to try and stop it happening again you can set Settings > General > Restrictions on the device to prevent in-app purchases, and to require your password to be entered for every download (there is a default of 15 minutes during which it doesn't need re-entering). If she knows your account's password then change that as well e.g. via the Store > View Account menu option on your computer's iTunes
