Feb 17, 2014 5:12 PM in response to Joseph_gvby Lawrence Finch,On what device? You cannot download updates using a browser on an iPhone. If your Restrictions passcode is forgotten the only solution is to restore your phone using iTunes and set it up as New. You will lose all of your data.

Jun 7, 2016 11:08 AM in response to Lawrence Finchby Locked out of Safari,Has there been an resolution to this? I forgot my restrictions 4-digit passcode too and every time I try to log in, it tells me to try again in 60 minutes...I don't want to uninstall and reinstall. There's got to be a better workaround for this. Where is parental controls on the IPhone? Would that be a potential solution?

If you should forget your restrictions passcode, the only means to get rid of it is to restore your iPhone as new or restore from a previous Backup that did not have the restriction passcode in place. If there was any other way around this, the purpose of this feature would be self-defeating.
