Q: iTunes U for 1st Generation iPad

I use to be able to use iTunes U but then after reseting my ipad, I cant download the iTunes U because its now a newer OS does anyone know how I can get the previous version iTunes U or where I can download it from?

    Hello jasangas,

     

    It sounds like you are trying to download the iTunes U app from its page in the App Store but the version that it is downloading is for a newer iOS version. Try going to your purchased history and downloading it from there:

    Here's how you install an earlier version of an app:

    1. Open the App Store (with iOS 4.3.3 or later) or Mac App Store (with OS X Mountain Lion only).
    2. Go to the Purchased screen (iOS) or Purchases tab (OS X).
    3. Select the app you want to download.
