Q: on my iphone 5 says no sim card what can i do

my iphone 5 shows a masagge saying no sim card.

iPhone 5, iOS 7.0.4, it shows up constantly

Put a SIM card in the phone.

Remove it and clean the contacts. Use a good pencil eraser. Inspect the slot and clean out any dirt in it - gently. Put the SIM back in. If it still doesn't work get a replacement SIM from your carrier.

Same happens to me... tried different sims and every advice in here... doesnt work either.. i think its a phone problem... i guess its time to schedule an appointment with genius bar ... so annoying!!!!
