Q: How do I convert my iBook (made in iBooks Author) to ePub 3.0?

I'm trying to deliver an iBook I made using iBooks Author which is written half in English, half in Japanese to the iBook Store, via iTunes Producer and I got an error message. I've been told I have to recreate my book as an ePub 3.0 file. I have no idea how to do that. If iBooks Author can't automatically generate the file I need, what program should I use?

Thanks.

The epub3 rule is for books whose primary language is Japanese.  If your book's primary language is English, make that clear in the submission data and perhaps it will be accepted.

The is no way to easily convert iBA's .ibooks format to any kind of .epub.  I suppose you could try exporting to pdf and using some online pdf to epub converter, but good results are unlikely.  You will probably have to recreate the book using something like InDesign or Sigil.  Pages cannot do epub3.
