It sounds like you would like to change your print color options from color to black and white. If the drivers for your printer allow this to be changed, you can do so in the Advanced Options:
Set advanced options
The full Print dialog lets you set the basic print options, save a group of print options as a preset, and select the paper size and orientation. More options are displayed below the print options pop-up menu (the pop-up menu within the separator bar). These options change depending on your selected printer and the current app. For more information about these options, see the documentation that came with your printer or app.
