Feb 17, 2014 10:51 AM in response to Diarmuidohanlonby patixa,The screenshot you provided is for iTunes, not iAd Producer.
The Apple ID you need to use for iAd Producer is the same required for iTunes Producer. If you haven't enabled the latter, you will need to do so before you can upload content created with iAd Producer to Apple.

Feb 21, 2014 11:22 AM in response to markmaloneby Diarmuidohanlon,I don't get that window at sign-in. I get the one at the top with the iTunes logo. The ID is then rejected. Do I need to be a member of iTunes Connect or ITunes Producer or something? How can I do that from outside the US.
Basically I want to create itunes Extras for some movie files (already edited, encoded and imported into itunes)
Thanks

So, yes, you need to be able to login to iTunes Connect and iTunes Producer. See the "Movie Provider FAQ" on what you need to set up such an account:

Feb 24, 2014 3:02 PM in response to diarmuidohanlon2012by patixa,If you are creating an iTunes Extra for sale on the iTunes Store, you will need an iTunes Connect account. Since you said the movie was "already edited, encoded and imported into itunes", I assumed you intended the make the Extra available for sale.
If my assumption was incorrect, and this is for personal use, you can use the Asset Manager (from the Window menu) to enter the information you would otherwise get from iTunes Connect / iTunes Producer, namely the film's xid, and each chapter's titles and poster image.
I hope that helps!

Feb 25, 2014 2:35 AM in response to patixaby diarmuidohanlon.apple,Thanks. Am I correct then in saying that I can create extras for the movie without having to set up an account.
The video is encoded and ready, I have some supplemental extras which form the extras. I need to be able to set it up to show the client before incurring costs.
THanks

Feb 25, 2014 1:24 PM in response to patixaby diarmuidohanlon2012,Would you mind explaing how I do that. When I import the 5.5GB main video I get an error about the size of the image and cannot set it as the main video asset.
Do I need a code for the video asset or how do I link my extras to my video? Do I need to set something in the movies metadata?
Thanks for your help with this

Feb 26, 2014 4:24 PM in response to diarmuidohanlon2012by diarmuidohanlon2012,I cannot get the iTunes Extra to recognise the main movie asset.
Where am I going wrong? If I create an XID code and add it in subler is that enough?
Thanks
D
