Not with the computer stand "little bar."
More likely the problem is moisture, vibration, software problems, or just old age.
(1) If none of the other suggestions from How to Troubleshoot iSight helps you, use the final "Troubleshooting" suggestion: "... contact Apple or an Apple-Authorized Service Provider for service."
(2) If you want to try one last thing on your own before seeking professional help, restart your Mac, and then use your Mac's Disk Utility to repair permissions. Then download and apply the latest Combo Update for your Mac OS X (10.7.5):
http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1582
Repair permissions again immediately following the system restart that completes the Combo update. Then test the iSight again.
Properly applying the Combo version of updates can sometimes correct software problems. However, if your trouble is caused by a hardware problem, there are no user serviceable parts of the camera. For hardware help, contact Apple or an Apple-Authorized Service Provider for service as suggested above.

Be assured that the suggestions offered will work. If all else fails, an Apple-Authorized Service Provider can fix it (if you want to spend what it costs.)
If repair cost is too much, and if you are not in the market for a new Mac with inbuilt webcam, consider iCubie or other Mac Compatible Web Camera.

Thanks a lot for the tips anyway, cheers!

Good plan. The Apple technicians can tell you whether an external camera is a work-around option without other repairs to your Mac.
We'll watch for your status update.
Cheers,
