Q: tried to install apple nano ipod 7 on windows xp (code 43 displayed)

I tried to install apple nano ipod 7 on windows 7 xp ( a code 43 is displayed ) also the ipod is not recognised in itunes and now the ipod wont charge using the usb cable provided.
