Q: Photo stream

If someone sents a photo to my iphone will it show up on my ipad in my photo stream??

    If someone sends a photo? If they email the photo to you, you will see it on all of your devices when you open the email. They don't need to use Photo Stream for that.

     

    they can create a Shared Photo Stream for you to see the photos.

    Hi

    Pictures can only show up in photo stream if the picture is in your camera roll and you are connected to wifi.

    So let's say someone emails or texts you an image, you can choose to save it in the camera roll and when you're connected to wifi, it will show up in the photo stream.

    You can choose to save it to the camera roll, that is correct. It will not show up in the Photo Stream. That is incorrect.

     

    Photo Stream only works with devices that share the same Apple ID or if you set up a shared photo stream for others to view.
