Q: How can I remove the NYT extension?  There is no uninstall button.

The extension (plugin) for Safari is either in

/Library/InternetPlugins/  folder, or in

yourname/Library/InternetPlugins   folder.

Look there and find the NYT plugin, delete it.

Please post a screenshot that shows what you mean. Be careful not to include any private information.

Start a reply to this message. Click the camera icon in the toolbar of the editing window and select the image file to upload it. You can also include text in the reply.

From the Safari menu bar, select

Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions

Select the extension you want to remove and click Uninstall.

There is no uninstall button.

That's what I was asking for a screenshot of.

I'm trying to remove a New York Times extention.  There is no uninstall button and I cannt figur out what to do to get rid of it. There is no way by Internet Pluggings in Library.

Is this an extension or a menu bar item? If a menu bar item, try holding down the command key while clicking and holding the item while dragging it from the menu bar. If not please post a screen shot.

That is the question. It is like an ítem in the toolbar "New York Times Updates". How to remover it?

That New York Times Updates appears embebed in widget bar.

Safari/Bookmarks/Favorites - delete the link there.
