Mar 6, 2014 2:13 AM in response to masoud90by vinnyvg,Now did you upload the first version of your InDesign created eBook?
An update replaces the first version completely, so logically you can recreate your book...using ibooksAuthor and adding any updates to the content and delivery as version 1.1 to the store using iTunesProducer to deliver it.....
IF.. you use the original , title, metadata and vendor ID. it was previously something like 098765432.itmsp

Mar 7, 2014 6:05 PM in response to vinnyvgby masoud90,Yes, my book is already uploaded and live on the iTunes store...so there is absolutely no way for me to just upload the updated file without having to do all the work of re-making my book on iBooksAuthor?
I have spent days working on perfecting the InDesign file and I just don't want to re-do my book if I can avoid it!
Thank you!

Mar 8, 2014 2:23 AM in response to masoud90by vinnyvg,There is no way to import your original InDesign created ePub... into iBooksAuthor.
You can update your inDesign files..and upload as an update.
Only you know if the book is selling ...and at what rate of sales...and therefore that information is the catalyst for your choice. If it is selling well -it would seem worthwhile investing some time to rebuild and update it using iBA.
You mention spending a few days creating your book.....there are many members here who spend months creating so e examples of the most brilliant interactive iBooks currently available in the store. However, only you can decide which of the options available to you..to opt into.
