Q: Change configuration to English

Basically the same way you switched it to Japanese, unless of course you chose Japanese upon set up.

Open the Settings app > General > International > Language (change to English). You may also need to set the Keyboard and Region format (at least che them - same screen).

If you can't read the Japanese configuration and you are stuck now, this might be helpful.

Never mind.  I followed your suggestions to the other user and I think I solved my problem.  It looks like everything, or mostly everything is in English now.  Thanks.
