Q: Power Button Behavior changed with latest OS X Mavericks update

I've noticed since upgrading to 10.9.2 that my power button behavior has changed, and I cannot find an option to restore it to the old, preferred behavior.

It used to be that I could just tap the Power button to put my iMac to sleep.  Now with the latest update, it appears that I must hold the button for about 1 second to sleep.  (Just tapping it does nothing.)  Wouldn't be so much of an issue, except that if you hold it just a little too long it brings up a dialog on whether you want to completely shut down.  I just want to be able to tap it quickly.  Any ideas?

Thanks.
