Mar 10, 2014 4:30 AM in response to Aysha S.by Singulto,Thanks Aysha but seems don't works...
If I made, for example, a search like 'Fabio kind:events' I see the gear spins for a while and then Spotlight won't return anything; I also tried a more complex instruction like kind:events date:1/1/2013-31/12/2013
without any result...
tnx
Fabio

Mar 10, 2014 4:37 AM in response to Singultoby Aysha S.,You might need to reindex Spotlight if it isn't returning any results:
Spotlight: How to re-index folders or volumes
- From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
- Click Spotlight.
- Click the Privacy tab.
- Drag a folder or an entire volume (your hard drive) to the list.
- If prompted for confirmation, click OK.
- Remove the item or volume you just added to the list by clicking it and then clicking the minus ("-") button.
- Close Spotlight preferences.
- Spotlight will re-index the contents of the folder or volume.
Additional Information
Note: You can only add folders or items to the Privacy tab that you have ownership permissions for. For more information about ownership and permissions, see Troubleshooting permissions issues in Mac OS X.
