Mar 10, 2014 11:56 AM in response to Michael Blackby MadDog956,From what I'm seeing, the max is 50 GB, is that correct? I was thinking about switching but I'm already at 80+ GB on my Google Drive.
I'd rather not have to manage down what I have on my drive. Any suggestions?

What then, is the purpose of iCloud, compared to Google Drive or Dropbox?

It syncs data (contacts, calendars, notes, reminders, etc.) across iOS devices and computers sharing the account to keep your data consistent as you make changes on any of them. It also streams photos to your devices, provides an option to back up your devices, and an optional IMAP email account. It's also designed for personal rather than business use. Given it's purpose, 55GB is more than enough space for almost all users.
